Okay, so I've had my website sarahbellis.com for about two years now, and I've been saying that I was going to create a page devoted totally to my knitting projects..... but never got around to it. Well, now the cool thing is to have a knitting blog, so I can post photos of FO's, show my progress on a project, yak about my LYS - basically so all you fellow knitters can share in the trials, tribulations, and glory that comes along with being oh-so-attached to your needles and yarn. Sarah Sue Magoo is my "knitting alter ego" of sorts........ ;)
(Speaking of LYS, I have a disturbing story about a man this weekend who asked about putting crochet hooks in the FREEZER! Yes, the freezer!...... but that's for later.)
I will end this post with a photo of some little booties that I knitted for a friend's baby. I knit a lot of these. They are so quick and so cute. And people LOVE receiving them as a gift. I usually knit them on three dpns like a little sock, instead of putting a seam in. My grandfather even reprimanded me for this, "Why are you using four needles?????? You're making it harder on yourself." I guess I just like knitting socks, and I don't really enjoy seams in things..... plus I think they're cuter this way :)
